LGBTQ+ Friendly Improv Workshop 7th August

We’re thrilled to welcome The Laughter Academy to host a free (pre-booking is required), 2-hour improv workshop for our trans and allied community. This playful, affirming session is all about connection, creativity, and laughter in a safe, trans-friendly space.
Everyone’s welcome – whether you’re trans, nonbinary, questioning, or an ally – and no improv experience is needed. If your only exposure to improv is Whose Line Is It Anyway?, you’re in the right place! Seasoned improvisers who want to refresh their skills and have fun are welcome too.
Queertopia Poetry Slam 13th August

Our monthly Poetry Slam is a bold, beautiful night of spoken word, open to trans+ folk and allies alike. All funds raised go directly to Transpire. This is a space for expression, connection, and community through the power of words.
Whether you’re a seasoned poet, a first-time performer, or just here to soak up the atmosphere, you’re welcome.
Our next Poetry Slam will be on 13th August, at 7pm, available below!

Responding Together Workshops

Our free Responding Together sessions are designed to support trans+ people and their allies in understanding their rights, advocating for themselves, and taking collection action on the issues that affect our community.
In these workshops, we break down complex topics like consultations, policy changes, and public responses into something clear, accessible, and empowering.
At our last session, focused on the EHRC consultation, participants shared how the space helped them overcome emotional and mental health barriers to engaging, gave them the language they needed to respond with confidence, and left them feeling supported and energised to take action.
Just us as a member now or follow us on socials to stay updated on the next Responding Together session.
