Gina Denham is a Police officer, who announced her transition to her organisation in November 2014.
Her transition has received media interest. She has spoken publically on BBC Essex, ITV’s London Tonight, as well as featuring in magazines and newspapers, highlighting the importance of having a supportive workplace when transitioning. She won the 2016 British Association Of Women in Policing’s Special Recognition award for her work in relation to gender equality and raising trans awareness. She is the chair and founder of Transpire, her mantra is, “No person (LGBT or otherwise) should feel isolated”. This was her motivation for forming Transpire to provide peer support.
Logan Fox is a fine art photographer based in Southend-on-Sea. He brings a multitude of business and creative skills to Transpire. Logan is our elected treasurer, so he not only ensures that we pay our bills on time but he also helps to organise events and source funding for the group.
